• Remember fragrances rise. If you apply a scent only behind your ears, it'll fade away fast. Think from the bottom up. Apply to your pulse points starting with the ankles and end around the base of your throat.

• Don't rub your wrists together after putting on a scent. The friction could alter the smell.

• Make your fragrance last longer by protecting it from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes. Store it in a cool, dark place such as a shelf or a closet.
